Welcome to the official recap for the Hitting the dancefloor with the Stars Season 21 Debut (unique airdate September 14, 2015). The greatest move party on the planet came back with an all-new ritzy cast. The scene commenced with the greatest number in DWTS history shot on well known Hollywood Lane. How did the stars do in their Moving introduction? Look at the Sparkle Report for the night's highlights!
Crocodile Rockin' It: Bindi Irwin & Derek Hough fittingly did the Jive to "Crocodile Rock" by Elton John. The group ran wild and in light of current circumstances. Bindi was completely beguiling and enlivening with a high-vitality schedule that, well, absolutely crocodile shook! Her three 8s from the judges were sufficient to reel in a tie for top score of the night.
Finishing on a High Note: Scratch Carter & Sharna Burgess wrapped up the night of introduction hits the dancefloor with a Cha to "I Don't Care for It, I Adore It" by Flo Rida including Robin Thicke. The group finished the night on a high note with a fine schedule that scored three 8s from the judges and a tie for top score of the night. Look at it!
A Universe of Enigmas: Gary Busey & Anna Trebunskaya gave us our third Cha of the night to "Moving in the Road" by David Bowie & Mick Jagger. The man, by his own confirmation, "moved in a universe of enigmas." Not certain what that implies, but rather it beyond any doubt was exciting. The judges gave him three 5s for his schedule, yet one gets the sense Gary wouldn't fret that by any means.
Hanging On For a Legend: Alek Skarlatos & Lindsay Arnold put their best feet forward with a Foxtrot to "Ten Feet Tall" by Afrojack including Wrabel. This American legend didn't have a ton of move experience before tackling this new test. Alright, he didn't have any! That didn't appear to make a difference. Alek wowed the group and Carrie Ann too. She gave him a 8 to run with a couple of 7s from alternate judges.
